About Us

Death should be a celebration she told me like a birthday. I want to go up like a rocket when my time comes, and fall down in a cloud of stars, and hear everyone go : Ahhhh!

“Chocolat” Joanne Harris

Have you ever thought about the last impression you will leave?

What was unique or special about you?

If someone asked your family what image would most reflect what your life had been about or what you had most loved what would that be?

The philosophy behind Dying Art is to celebrate what is loved about us by imagery on the surface of the casket.

We will regularly be adding new designs in response to your feedback, so please contact us and tell us what you would like to see, and also come back and view our new images from time to time. For years the only choice of caskets has been a range that had the same generic look, some just a little fancier, and to be honest that was all that anyone wanted anyway. With our lives becoming more and more systemised and standardised, we felt that the time was right to use imagery to add a personalised touch, enabling us to celebrate the life that had been lived. Our wish is that we can lighten the sadness a little by focusing on what was special and unique about our lives.

It has got to be the best job in the world

Dear Jayne,

Thank you for your efforts, it is exactly what Marie wanted & the people that have seen it say it is Marie to a T. My thanks for the professionalism you have shown & your promptness in the preparation of her casket.

Thank you again, Dave Harwood.

Dear Jayne,

It is really great that someone is trying to make funerals a nice event for those that choose to be a little different. It turned out to be more of a celebration of Jim's life and all he had given to us. It really made the day much more cheerful and a number of people said they actually enjoyed going to the funeral.
