What
designs are available and can I have my own?
The different design choices are limitless. We are building a library
of designs so eventually there will be something for everyone that they
would consider personal to them.in our range.
These are designed around 5 themes:
“Rest in peace”
The purity and peacefulness of New Zealand’s Beauty
Examples - Curving Country Roads, Native bush, Mountains, Lakes, Streams
, Rural scenery, Dolphins .
“Essence”
Your
Identity such as National, Regional or Cultural heritage,
Examples - Religious icons and imagery, National flags. Tapa cloths,
Tartans, Armed Forces.
“Flora”
Collections
of floral and botanical images
Examples - Peonies, Lavender, Violets, Frangipanis, Wildflowers, Roses
“Passions“
Special
interest and Hobbies
Examples - Fishing, Ball sports, Golf, Motor racing, Motor bikes,
Music
“Expressions”
Individual
art inspired and unusual images that break the mould.
Examples - Animal prints, Art prints, Any other custom images.
What would you have?
How
do you do it?
We use a high resolution SLR Digital Camera and take it everywhere
to capture images to use for the new designs. We also work with photographers
who provide us with photos we cannot take and also purchase from photo
libraries, though this is expensive and is usually kept for images we
can’t take such as underwater dolphins!
The production process involves specially finished “blank “caskets
made in the shape that best allows us to applicate the image. We produce
all our own work in- house with the latest high resolution digital printing
equipment at a resolution of 720dpi.The images are printed onto self adhesive
vinyl and heat “shrink wrapped” to the outer surfaces of the
casket.
We make sure that we are able to produce any urgent requests, by making
the caskets a priority.
Where
do I buy them?
We sell only through Funeral homes, which gives us a nation-wide network
so anyone in New Zealand has access to our designs, however you are welcome
to contact us direct and discuss what image you would like.
What
sizes are available?
All designs in standard size
6 ‘1 “(21 x 12) but we can also do custom sizes upon request.This
will take a little longer 1-2 days.
What
is the availability?
We hold stock of each design in the range and/or extra sets of prints
that can be applicated immediately to “blank” caskets. When
an order is placed the stock item is sent and a reprint ordered to replace
it.
Delivery is generally 1-2 day delivery to North Island destinations and
3-4 days to most destinations in the South Island.
What about the handles
and dressing inside?
Once the funeral directors take delivery they add the handles and
inside dressing from the selection that is available.
